The role of Advanced Nurse Practitioner

Our advanced nurse practitioners, and urgent care practitioner, are invaluable in supporting our GP Team.

Our receptionist may offer you an appointment with an ANP or UCP when you call us, rather than a GP.

Please do not worry about this. ANP and UCP staff are trained to diagnose, prescribe and refer when necessary, and always have a GP on hand should a case be more complicated than initially thought.
