We have received recent anonymous feedback regarding our appointment system. The patient was understandably frustrated that they required 4 separate appointments. They stated that ‘There must be a better way’.
As our Team compromises many different clinicians who specialise in different fields, on occasion several different appointments will be required.
For example; 4 separate appointments will be required for:
Blood Tests
Physiotherapy
Asthma Review
HRT Check,
as no one clinician can deal with all 4 of these issues.
We appreciate that booking appointments – particularly when you require several – can be challenging; please be assured we are constantly monitoring and making improvements to our booking system.
Many appointments are now available to book online. Blood test appointments; GP appointments etc.
The exception to this rule is Practice Nurse appointments, as the type and length of available appointments can vary greatly, and doesn’t suit online booking because of the margin for booking errors.
