Fortunately, the majority of our patients treat our staff with respect.

However, there is a minority of patients who still believe that it is appropriate to be rude and disrespectful towards members of our Team – particularly our receptionists.

We understand that often patients are distressed and anxious when they make contact with us; and we take this into consideration.

However, rudeness towards staff will not be tolerated.

Telephone calls into the surgery are recorded; and action will be taken against patients who use inappropriate language, shout, or swear at staff; either on the telephone or face to face in surgery.
